Ingredients
- 8 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cocoa powder or chopped nuts for coating
Instructions
- Place chopped chocolate in a medium bowl.
- In a saucepan, bring cream to a simmer.
- Pour hot cream over the chocolate, add butter and vanilla extract, and stir until smooth.
- Cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until firm.
- Once firm, use a spoon to scoop out portions and roll into balls.
- Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or chopped nuts to coat.
- Place on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate again until set.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
