Description

Delicious chocolate truffles that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cocoa powder or chopped nuts for coating


Instructions

  1. Place chopped chocolate in a medium bowl.
  2. In a saucepan, bring cream to a simmer.
  3. Pour hot cream over the chocolate, add butter and vanilla extract, and stir until smooth.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until firm.
  5. Once firm, use a spoon to scoop out portions and roll into balls.
  6. Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or chopped nuts to coat.
  7. Place on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate again until set.
  8. Serve chilled and enjoy!
