Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice

- 2 teaspoons tandoori spice mix

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the yogurt, lemon juice, vegetable oil, tandoori spice mix, salt, garlic powder, ginger powder, and paprika until well combined.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight for more flavor.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the juices run clear. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for a charred effect.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with rice or naan.
Notes
For best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. You can use bone-in chicken thighs for more flavor and juiciness. Add extra spice for a hotter dish.
