Description

A quick and simple meal featuring tender chicken and buttery noodles, perfect for busy nights.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Add the chicken to the pan and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually about 7-9 minutes.
  5. Once noodles are cooked, stir in the butter until melted.
  6. Return the chicken to the pan and let it heat through for a few minutes.
  7. Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Make sure not to overcrowd the pan when cooking the chicken to help it brown evenly. Customize by adding favorite vegetables.
