Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the ketchup and brown sugar. Spread the mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
Notes
For leftovers, wrap tightly and store in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
