Description

A classic comfort food that’s simple to make and deliciously flavorful, perfect for any day of the week.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the ketchup and brown sugar. Spread the mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.

Notes

For leftovers, wrap tightly and store in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
