Description

A simple yet delicious garlic butter chicken that elevates any meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry using paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant.
  5. Add the chicken back to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over it, allowing it to soak up the flavors for a minute.
  6. Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Pat the chicken dry for a nice sear. Adjust garlic to taste and let chicken rest after cooking for better juiciness.
