Description
A simple yet delicious garlic butter chicken that elevates any meal.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry using paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant.
- Add the chicken back to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over it, allowing it to soak up the flavors for a minute.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
Pat the chicken dry for a nice sear. Adjust garlic to taste and let chicken rest after cooking for better juiciness.
