A comforting and hearty chicken casserole dish with creamy goodness and delightful textures, perfect for family dinners or potlucks.
Ingredients
- 16 oz linguini
- 1/4 cup butter, softened (for buttering the casserole dish)
- 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 (10.5 oz) cans cream of chicken condensed soup
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1.5 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried parsley (plus more for topping)
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the linguini to al dente according to package instructions.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, minced garlic, sour cream, chicken broth, dried parsley, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Whisk until smooth.
- Stir in half of the shredded cheeses, shredded rotisserie chicken, and cooked noodles. Toss gently.
- Grease a casserole dish with softened butter and pour the mixture into it.
- Top with remaining shredded cheese and a sprinkle of dried parsley.
- Bake in the oven for 35 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
For extra creaminess, add more cream of chicken soup or sour cream. Feel free to mix different cheese types.
