Description

A creamy, flavorful appetizer perfect for sharing and pairs wonderfully with dippables.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (optional, such as parsley or dill)


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, blue cheese, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into a ball or log shape.
  3. Roll the cheese ball in the chopped nuts until fully coated.
  4. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or until firm.
  5. Serve with crackers, baguette slices, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

For a variety of flavors, experiment with different cheeses or add dried fruits. Allow adequate chilling time for best flavor.
