Ingredients
- 2 cups egg noodles (uncooked)
- 1 pound ground beef (lean)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2-3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian spices
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups beef stock
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the noodles according to package instructions.
- In a pan over high heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion for about 10 minutes, breaking up the meat as it cooks.
- Lower the heat and add minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian spices; cook for 1 minute.
- Add flour to the mixture, stir, and cook for 2 minutes.
- Slowly pour in beef stock while stirring; cook for 5-10 minutes until thickened. Add more stock if it’s too thick.
- Mix in the cooked noodles and season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat thoroughly before serving.
