Description

A quick and hearty meal combining ground beef, egg noodles, and a flavorful sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups egg noodles (uncooked)
  • 1 pound ground beef (lean)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2-3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian spices
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the noodles according to package instructions.
  2. In a pan over high heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion for about 10 minutes, breaking up the meat as it cooks.
  3. Lower the heat and add minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian spices; cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add flour to the mixture, stir, and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Slowly pour in beef stock while stirring; cook for 5-10 minutes until thickened. Add more stock if it’s too thick.
  6. Mix in the cooked noodles and season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat thoroughly before serving.
