Ingredients

273 g all-purpose flour
7 g baking soda
5 g salt
3 g ground cinnamon
WET INGREDIENTS
227 ml unsalted butter, softened
200 ml granulated sugar
150 ml light brown sugar
60 ml eggs (about 2 large eggs)
15 ml vanilla extract

340 g semi-sweet chocolate chips
100 g chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 177°C (350°F). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
5. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts (if using).
6. Scoop dough into 3 cm balls using a cookie scoop. Place on prepared baking sheets, spacing about 5 cm apart.
7. Bake 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden but centers are still soft.
8. Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For theme park-style results, chill dough for 24 hours before baking.
Use high-quality chocolate chips for the best flavor.
For a chewier texture, bake at 163°C (325°F) for a few extra minutes.
