Description

Bring the magic of Disney to your kitchen with their famous chocolate chip cookies — now with precise metric measurements for perfect results every time.

Ingredients

DRY INGREDIENTS

273 g all-purpose flour

7 g baking soda

5 g salt

3 g ground cinnamon

WET INGREDIENTS

227 ml unsalted butter, softened

200 ml granulated sugar

150 ml light brown sugar

60 ml eggs (about 2 large eggs)

15 ml vanilla extract

CHOCOLATE & ADD-INS

340 g semi-sweet chocolate chips

100 g chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 177°C (350°F). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing until combined.

5. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts (if using).

6. Scoop dough into 3 cm balls using a cookie scoop. Place on prepared baking sheets, spacing about 5 cm apart.

7. Bake 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden but centers are still soft.

8. Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For theme park-style results, chill dough for 24 hours before baking.

Use high-quality chocolate chips for the best flavor.

For a chewier texture, bake at 163°C (325°F) for a few extra minutes.

Try variations like gluten-free flour or vegan swaps with dairy-free butter, flax eggs, and dairy-free chocolate.
