Description

A homemade version of Dinty Moore Beef Stew, rich with tender beef, potatoes, and carrots in savory gravy perfect for cozy nights or hearty meals.


Ingredients

2 lbs Beef stew meat cut into cubes

4 cups Beef broth

3 pcs Carrots sliced

3 pcs Potatoes diced

1 pc Onion chopped

2 cloves Garlic minced

2 tsp Salt

1 tsp Black pepper

2 tbsp Olive oil

2 tbsp Flour


Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

2. Add beef stew meat and cook until browned on all sides.

3. Remove beef from pot and set aside.

4. In the same pot, add onions and garlic, cook until softened.

5. Stir in flour and cook for another minute.

6. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly.

7. Return beef to the pot, add carrots, potatoes, salt, and pepper.

8. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.

9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra depth, add a splash of red wine or Worcestershire sauce. Leftovers keep well in the fridge for 3 days or freeze up to 2 months.
