Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil the diced potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, sour cream, and melted butter.
- Add the drained potatoes to the cream mixture, and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
Make sure to cut the potatoes evenly for even cooking. You can use different cheeses for variation. Add jalapeños for spice.
