Description

Creamy, cheesy potatoes that are a perfect comfort food for any meal or occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil the diced potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, sour cream, and melted butter.
  4. Add the drained potatoes to the cream mixture, and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Make sure to cut the potatoes evenly for even cooking. You can use different cheeses for variation. Add jalapeños for spice.
