Elegant and flavorful cranberry goat cheese phyllo cups, perfect for your Thanksgiving appetizer spread.
Ingredients
- 1 package of phyllo dough (12 sheets), thawed
- 8 oz goat cheese, softened
- ½ cup fresh cranberries
- 2 tbsp honey (optional)
- 1 tbsp fresh orange zest
- Fresh rosemary (for garnish)
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional, for cranberry topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush each sheet of phyllo dough with melted butter, stack 4-5 sheets, and cut into squares.
- Press the squares into a muffin tin to form cups and bake for 8-10 minutes until golden.
- In a bowl, mix goat cheese, honey, and orange zest until smooth.
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries and sugar, heat over medium for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Spoon the goat cheese mixture into phyllo cups, then top with cranberry mixture.
- Garnish with fresh rosemary and drizzle with honey if desired. Serve immediately.

These cups can be prepared in advance; fill them just before baking for fresh flavor.
