Description

A delicious and refreshing homemade watermelon sorbet perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of cubed ripe watermelon
  • 2 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the watermelon into cubes, removing the seeds if necessary. Measure out about 4 cups of watermelon cubes in a bowl.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine the watermelon cubes, honey (or agave syrup), and fresh lime juice. Blend until completely smooth.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if needed. You can add more honey or lime juice to suit your preference.
  4. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish or an ice cream maker, if you have one. If using a shallow dish, freeze for about 120 minutes. If using an ice cream maker, churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. Once the mixture is frozen to your desired consistency, scoop into bowls or cups and enjoy!

Notes

Use seedless watermelon for easier preparation. Consider flavor variations like berry burst or minty watermelon.
