Ingredients
For the Vinegar-Infused Pizza Dough:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups warm water
1 tsp active dry yeast
1 tsp salt
1–2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
For the Pickle Brine Sauce Base:
1/2 cup pickle brine (from a jar of dill pickles)
1 tbsp white vinegar
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried dill
1 tsp sugar (optional, to balance acidity)
Toppings:
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup shredded provolone or cheddar
1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
Optional: crumbled bacon, caramelized onions, fresh dill, red pepper flakes
Instructions
Make the Dough:
In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and yeast. Stir in warm water, vinegar, and olive oil until a dough forms. Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rest for 1 hour.Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet or pizza stone.Prepare the Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix pickle brine, white vinegar, garlic powder, dried dill, and sugar. Set aside.Shape and Assemble:
Roll out dough to desired shape. Place on the pan. Spread the brine sauce evenly over the dough. Add shredded cheeses and top with sliced pickles and other toppings if using.Bake:
