Description

Delicious jalapeno popper twists with cream cheese and cheddar, wrapped in flaky puff pastry. Perfect for game day snacks!


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry (thawed)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (or Monterey Jack)
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 large Egg (for egg wash)
  • Dipping Sauces (ranch, sriracha mayo, or honey mustard, as needed)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry until it’s smooth.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced jalapenos, and garlic powder until well combined.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry.
  5. Cut the pastry into strips, about 1 inch wide.
  6. Twist each strip a few times to create a spiral effect.
  7. Place the twisted strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over each twist for a golden finish.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the twists are golden brown and crispy.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
