Description
Delicious jalapeno popper twists with cream cheese and cheddar, wrapped in flaky puff pastry. Perfect for game day snacks!
Ingredients
- 1 sheet Puff Pastry (thawed)
- 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
- 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (or Monterey Jack)
- 1/2 cup Sliced Jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 large Egg (for egg wash)
- Dipping Sauces (ranch, sriracha mayo, or honey mustard, as needed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry until it’s smooth.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced jalapenos, and garlic powder until well combined.
- Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry.
- Cut the pastry into strips, about 1 inch wide.
- Twist each strip a few times to create a spiral effect.
- Place the twisted strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over each twist for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the twists are golden brown and crispy.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
