Ingredients
- 6-8 Croissants (cut into halves or thirds)
- 10-12 slices deli meat (ham, prosciutto, turkey breast, salami)
- 3-4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary
- 8-10 slices Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 tbsp fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme)
Instructions
- Cut the croissants into thirds.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine heavy cream (or milk), eggs, salt, garlic salt, pepper, and fresh rosemary. Whisk until fully combined.
- Dunk the croissant pieces into the milk mixture, ensuring each piece is well-coated, then shake off excess liquid.
- Lay the coated croissant pieces into a greased baking dish, layering them snugly.
- Fill the gaps between the croissant pieces with deli meats and Swiss cheese.
- In a separate bowl, mix honey, melted butter, and any additional fresh herbs, then drizzle over the assembled croissant layers.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
