Description

Irresistible treat combining dark chocolate and crunchy mixed nuts, perfect for a wholesome snack at any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, and pecans)
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup nut butter (such as almond or peanut butter)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the dark chocolate chips over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the mixed nuts, rolled oats, honey or maple syrup, nut butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate into the bowl and stir until all ingredients are combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it down evenly.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until set.
  7. Allow to cool completely in the pan, then lift out using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
