Description

A comforting meal that combines chicken and stuffing cooked slowly in a crockpot for rich flavors and minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 (12 oz) package stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, chopped celery, chopped onion, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  4. Add the stuffing mix evenly on top and do not stir.
  5. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and the stuffing is hot.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding sautéed mushrooms or mixed vegetables. For a crispy texture, turn the crockpot to high for the last 30 minutes of cooking.
