Description

A heart-winning dish that combines flavorful chicken with a creamy sauce, perfect for any dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by gathering them on the counter for easy access.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté minced garlic in olive oil until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
  4. Place seasoned chicken in the Crock Pot; add sautéed garlic, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning.
  5. Pour heavy cream over the mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  6. Cook on low for 240-360 minutes or high for 120-180 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Shred or slice in the pot before serving.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the seasoning to your taste. You can add extra Italian herbs or red pepper flakes for a spicy kick. Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts for a juicier option.
