Description

A simple, cozy dessert with tender spiced apples and a crumbly oat topping, cooked slowly in a crock pot. No oven needed—perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

6 medium Fuji Apples (peeled, cored, 1/4-inch slices)
2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
3/4 cup Brown Sugar (packed light)
3/4 cup Old Fashioned Oats
1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour


Instructions

1. Peel, core, and slice apples into 1/4-inch thick pieces.
2. In a bowl, mix granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg; toss with apple slices.
3. Place apples in the crock pot and spread evenly.
4. For the topping, combine brown sugar, oats, and flour in a separate bowl.
5. Press the topping mixture over the apples.
6. Cook on LOW for 2h30m or HIGH for 1h30m. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Substitute Honeycrisp or Gala apples as needed.
Use gluten-free flour for a gluten-free version.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
