Description

A delightful dish featuring the rich flavors of salmon with a crunchy baked Parmesan topping, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush each fillet with Dijon mustard and drizzle with lemon juice.
  5. Press the Parmesan mixture onto the top of each salmon fillet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes after baking to retain its moisture.
