Description

A delightful recipe for crispy parmesan chicken served with a rich garlic sauce, perfect for family dinners and entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large halved)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  6. Pour in the cream, stirring continuously.
  7. Add Italian seasoning or oregano and grated parmesan, mixing until smooth.
  8. If using spinach, stir it in and let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic sauce over it.
  10. Let simmer for about one minute and then serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, dredge the chicken in flour or breadcrumbs before frying. You can also use fresh garlic for better flavor.
