A delightful side dish that transforms Brussels sprouts into a crispy, flavor-packed sensation with savory garlic and rich Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs Brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly coat a baking sheet with nonstick spray.
  2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts, halving or quartering larger ones for even cooking.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Add the Brussels sprouts to the bowl and toss until coated.
  5. Sprinkle in panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese, tossing again to coat evenly.
  6. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and roast for 15–20 minutes, checking at 15 minutes for doneness.
  7. Serve immediately, optionally garnished with more Parmesan cheese.
