Description

Crispy Feta Rolls are a delightful blend of creamy filling and flaky pastry, combining feta and cream cheese rolled in crispy phyllo dough and baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • Phyllo dough
  • Feta cheese
  • Cream cheese
  • Honey
  • Chili flakes
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine feta cheese, cream cheese, salt, and pepper, mixing until well blended.
  3. Brush a sheet of phyllo dough lightly with olive oil and place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at one end.
  4. Carefully roll the phyllo dough tightly around the filling and place seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  5. Repeat with remaining phyllo dough and cheese mixture.
  6. Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. In a small saucepan, heat honey with chili flakes until warm and combined, then drizzle over baked rolls before serving.

Notes

Don’t overfill the rolls and keep phyllo covered while working to prevent it from drying out. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses and spices.
