Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb Center Cut Boneless Pork Chops
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 0.5 medium Onion (sliced)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1/3 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 0.5 cup Cheddar Cheese (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • Additional Salt and Pepper (to taste)


Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry, season with salt and pepper, and let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the pork chops for 3–4 minutes per side, then transfer to a plate.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, sauté onions for 3–4 minutes, then add garlic and sauté for another 30–45 seconds.
  4. Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, simmer for 1–2 minutes to reduce.
  5. Stir in cream and cream cheese, whisk until smooth, then add Italian seasoning.
  6. Melt in parmesan and cheddar, stirring until thickened and fully melted.
  7. Return pork chops to the skillet, nestle into the sauce, and cover, simmering for 6–8 minutes until pork reaches 145°F (63°C).
  8. Let rest for 3–5 minutes, then serve with sauce.

Notes

Use low-sodium broth to control saltiness. For dairy-free, substitute with coconut milk and dairy-free cream cheese.
