Delicious dish combining tender chicken and pasta in a rich, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz twisted pasta (like fusilli or rotini)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the twisted pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Melt the butter in the same pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the pot. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove chicken from the pot and slice thinly.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and fully combined.
- Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken back into the pot, stirring to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve topped with chopped parsley.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat gently to avoid drying out.
