Delicious and easy chicken tenders filled with cheese, bacon, and ranch seasoning, perfect for busy nights.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup almond flour or breadcrumbs
- 1 cup Ritz crackers, crushed
- 1 packet Ranch Seasoning Mix (about 1 ounce)
- 2 eggs, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat Oven or Air Fryer: For the oven, set it to 400°F (200°C). For the air fryer, set it to 390°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Coating: In a bowl, mix almond flour or breadcrumbs, crushed Ritz crackers, Ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Prepare the Cheese Filling: In another bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and crumbled bacon.
- Stuff the Chicken: Make a small slit in each chicken tender and fill it with the cheese mixture.
- Coat the Tenders: Dip each stuffed tender in the beaten eggs, then roll it in the breadcrumb-cracker mixture.
- Cook: For the oven, bake them for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway. For the air fryer, cook for 12–15 minutes, also flipping halfway.
- Rest and Serve: Let the tenders rest for 2–3 minutes before serving them with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Adjust the spices based on your preference. Use fresh bacon for best flavor and consider adding herbs for freshness.
