Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Additional powdered sugar for rolling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and orange zest.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped cranberries.
- Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool for a few minutes, then roll them in additional powdered sugar.
- Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
