Description

A delightful blend of sweet cranberries and spicy jalapeños, perfect for gifts or your table.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1-2 jalapeños, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Combine cranberries, jalapeños, sugar, water, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until boiling and cranberries burst, about 10 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in lime juice and remove from heat. Let cool to room temperature.
  5. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate. It’s ready to enjoy once chilled.

Notes

Adjust heat level by varying jalapeños used. Can be blended for a smoother texture. Store in the refrigerator.
