Description

A mouthwatering dish featuring tender steak and cheesy tortellini in a rich creamy sauce, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 20 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/4 cups parmesan, shredded or freshly grated
  • Parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Cracked black pepper (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the seasoned steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and let it rest.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and whole milk, stirring until simmering.
  5. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted, adjusting seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Combine cooked tortellini and sliced steak with the sauce, tossing gently to coat.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes, if desired.

Notes

Serve immediately, garnished with extra parmesan and cracked black pepper. A side salad or garlic bread pairs well.
