Description

A creamy and delicious pasta dish combining chicken, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb penne pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions


Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, combine the cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, and chicken broth over medium heat. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in the shredded cooked chicken and crumbled cooked bacon into the skillet sauce, mixing thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
  4. Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and stir well to coat all the pasta evenly with the creamy chicken sauce.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the pasta mixture, cover the skillet, and cook for a few minutes until the cheese is fully melted.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish the dish with chopped green onions, and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

Add leftover rotisserie chicken for extra flavor. You can use other pasta shapes and adjust ranch seasoning to taste.
