These juicy crack burgers are loaded with cheddar, crispy bacon, caramelized onions, and a creamy homemade sauce. Perfect for a quick, flavor-packed dinner the whole family will love.
Ingredients
1 lb (500 g) ground beef (80/20)
1 egg
1 tbsp breadcrumbs
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices cheddar cheese
4 brioche burger buns
4 strips of crispy bacon (optional)
Caramelized onions
Pickles
**Crack Sauce:**
3.5 oz (100 g) cream cheese
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp BBQ sauce
1 tbsp mustard
Paprika, salt, pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Mix ground beef with egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
2. Form 4 patties and chill for 10 minutes.
3. Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate.
4. Cook patties in a hot pan, 3–4 minutes per side.
5. Add cheddar cheese to patties and let it melt.
6. Toast the buns lightly.
7. Spread the crack sauce on both sides of the buns.
8. Add patty, bacon, caramelized onions, and pickles.
9. Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
Use jalapeños or hot sauce in the sauce for a spicy version.
Swap beef for a plant-based patty for a vegetarian option.
Butter the buns slightly before toasting for better texture.
Make the sauce ahead of time for deeper flavor.
