A delicious breakfast casserole combining eggs, crispy bacon, cheese, and hash browns, perfect for brunch or a family breakfast.
Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 package (30 oz) frozen hash browns
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the hash browns evenly.
- Spread the cooked bacon over the hash browns, then sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers in the baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with green onions if desired.
Notes
For best flavor, use freshly grated cheese instead of pre-shredded. Make it ahead by prepping the night before.
