Description
Crispy and creamy Crab Rangoon appetizers filled with a savory crab and cream cheese mixture, perfect for parties or snacks.
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 6 oz cooked crab meat, shredded
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 package of wonton wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce until smooth.
- Lay out the wonton wrappers and place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of each.
- Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half, and press to seal.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the rangoon in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
Serve with sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce for dipping. Best enjoyed hot and fresh.
