Ingredients
- 6 large croissants, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 pound sausage
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned. Drain excess grease and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined. Stir in cooked sausage and cheese.
- Gently fold in croissant pieces, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour in the croissant mixture, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the eggs are set.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, slice into squares, and serve warm.
