These Cottage Cheese Bagels are protein-rich, quick to make, and endlessly versatile. A no-yeast, one-bowl solution for busy mornings.
Ingredients
1 cup cottage cheese
1 egg
1 cup flour or almond flour
1½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
Optional toppings: everything seasoning, sesame seeds, cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix cottage cheese and egg until smooth.
3. Add dry ingredients and stir into a dough.
4. Divide into 4 portions, shape into bagels.
5. Top with seasonings, bake for 22–25 minutes.
Notes
Use almond flour with psyllium husk for a gluten-free version.
Blend cottage cheese for a smoother dough.
Freeze extras and reheat in the toaster for best texture.
