Description

Delightful bite-sized Oreo truffles coated in chocolate, perfect for Christmas gatherings or cozy evenings at home.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Sprinkles or crushed Oreos for decoration


Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until they are fine crumbs.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese until well blended.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Freeze the truffles for about 30 minutes to help them hold their shape.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with the vegetable oil, stirring until smooth and well combined.
  6. Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off, and then place them back on the parchment paper.
  7. Decorate with sprinkles or crushed Oreos while the chocolate is still wet.
  8. Refrigerate until the chocolate is set, then serve and enjoy!
