Description

A creamy and rich cheesecake that combines the delightful flavors of chocolate and fresh oranges, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 24 oz cream cheese (full-fat)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz dark chocolate (60-70% cocoa)
  • Zest and juice of 2 large fresh oranges
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter; press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in the granulated sugar, mixing until fully incorporated. Then mix in the orange zest and juice.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or stovetop. Allow it to cool slightly before folding it into the cream cheese mixture. Finally, gently fold in the whipped heavy cream until everything is well combined.
  4. Pour the filling into the cooled graham cracker crust and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or ideally overnight to set.
  5. Before serving, garnish the cheesecake with melted chocolate and fresh orange slices for an added touch of flavor and aesthetic.

Notes

Use full-fat cream cheese for the best texture and flavor. Chill overnight for maximum flavor.
