Description

Enjoy crispy chicken tenders and golden fries that are easy to make and perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts (boneless, skinless, cut into strips)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour if needed)
  • 2 large eggs, whisked
  • 1 ½ cups Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 large russet potatoes (peeled or unpeeled)
  • Cooking oil (canola or vegetable oil for frying)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Optional seasonings: Garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper
  • Dipping sauces: Ketchup, honey mustard, BBQ sauce, ranch dressing
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken tenders by cutting chicken breasts into strips and setting up a breading station with flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  2. Coat each chicken strip in flour, then in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.
  3. Prepare fries by slicing potatoes and soaking in cold water for 30 minutes, then pat them dry.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan to 350°F (175°C) and fry chicken tenders in batches for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Fry fries for 3-4 minutes in the same oil until crispy and golden.
  6. Serve and enjoy with dipping sauces and fresh parsley garnish.

Notes

For extra crunch, try double-breading the chicken. You can also use sweet potatoes for a healthier fry option.
