Description

A comforting and flavorful casserole blending shredded chicken, creamy cheeses, marinara sauce, and pasta, perfect for the whole family.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • Fresh basil for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, and seasonings (Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper).
  3. Fold in the cooked pasta until well mixed.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased casserole dish.
  5. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

For quicker preparation, use rotisserie chicken. Experiment with different cheeses or add extra veggies for added nutrition.
