Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cheese, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Form the chicken mixture into patties and carefully place them in the hot oil.
- Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and let drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding chopped herbs like parsley or cilantro to the mixture. Ensure the oil is hot before frying to get a nice golden color. If the mixture feels too wet, add a bit more breadcrumbs for better hold.
