A healthy and easy recipe for homemade chicken fajitas seasoning that enhances the flavor of meats and vegetables.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine all of the spices: chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
- Use 2 tablespoons of seasoning for every 1 pound of chicken or vegetables when cooking fajitas.
Notes
Adjust the level of cayenne pepper based on your spiciness preference. Add lime zest for a zesty kick. Can be doubled or tripled for future use.
