Description

A healthy and easy recipe for homemade chicken fajitas seasoning that enhances the flavor of meats and vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine all of the spices: chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
  4. Use 2 tablespoons of seasoning for every 1 pound of chicken or vegetables when cooking fajitas.

Notes

Adjust the level of cayenne pepper based on your spiciness preference. Add lime zest for a zesty kick. Can be doubled or tripled for future use.
