Description
A classic comfort dish that combines tender chicken and fresh broccoli with creamy sauce and cheese, topped with crispy breadcrumbs.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, broccoli, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top.
- In a separate bowl, combine breadcrumbs with a little melted butter and sprinkle over the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Serve hot.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken to save time and add extra flavor. Experiment with different cheeses for a unique twist.
