Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, red food coloring, salt, and baking powder. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
