Description

A delightful dish of tender chicken, gooey cheese, and savory garlic wrapped in a soft tortilla, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded or chopped chicken
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup softened cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • Optional: baby spinach, shredded lettuce, or sliced tomatoes to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, mayonnaise, and parsley. Mix until all ingredients are well blended and creamy.
  2. Place the tortillas on a flat surface. Spoon about 1/4 of the filling mixture into the center of each tortilla. If desired, add optional vegetables like baby spinach, shredded lettuce, or sliced tomatoes.
  3. Fold the sides of the tortillas inward and then roll them tightly from the bottom to form wraps.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with minced garlic. Brush the outside of each wrap generously with this mixture.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place each wrap in the skillet seam-side down. Toast for 2–3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and crispy, and the cheese inside is melted.
  6. Remove from the skillet and slice each wrap in half. Serve warm with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as ranch or garlic aioli.

Notes

Customize the fillings with leftover vegetables or mix in other ingredients for added flavor.
