Description
A quick and delicious sandwich made with juicy ground beef and gooey melted cheese, perfect for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices cheese (cheddar or American)
- 4 slices bread (your choice)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
- While the beef is cooking, butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Once the beef is ready, place a slice of cheese on top and allow it to melt slightly.
- Assemble the sandwich by placing the beef and cheese between two slices of bread, buttered side out.
- Grill the sandwich in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Slice and serve hot, with optional toppings as desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add sautéed onions or bell peppers. Experiment with different types of cheese.
