Description
A delightful dessert that combines the rich texture of brownies with creamy cheesecake, topped with sweet caramel.
Ingredients
- 1 box of brownie mix (plus ingredients specified on box: usually eggs, oil, and water)
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup whipped cream (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to brownie mix instructions.
- Prepare brownie batter as directed, pour into a greased 9-inch springform pan.
- Bake brownies for half the time suggested on the box.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Pour cheesecake mixture over partially baked brownies, spreading evenly.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over cheesecake in a decorative manner.
- Return to the oven and bake until cheesecake is set (25–30 minutes).
- Cool in the pan for a bit, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
- If desired, top each slice with whipped cream and an additional drizzle of caramel.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients and allow the cheesecake to cool before refrigerating.
