Description

A delightful dessert that combines rich brownie and creamy cheesecake layers, topped with sweet caramel.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of brownie mix (plus additional ingredients as per package)
  • 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • Whipped cream (for serving)
  • Chocolate shavings (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix as directed and pour into the springform pan. Bake according to package instructions.
  3. Let the brownie base cool completely.
  4. Lower the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C).
  5. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract, eggs, sour cream, and heavy cream; blend until smooth.
  6. Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled brownie base and drizzle half of the caramel on top, gently swirling it into the batter.
  7. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, until the center is set but slightly jiggly. Cool gradually in the oven for 1 hour.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  9. Before serving, garnish with whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel, and chocolate shavings.

Notes

For cleaner slices, use a hot knife and wipe it between cuts. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for 5 to 7 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
