Description

A fantastic dish that combines the savory elements of Cajun cuisine with the creamy richness of Alfredo sauce, perfect for impressing dinner guests.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp to avoid a rubbery texture. Use fresh ingredients for the best results.
