Quick and nutritious butterscotch protein balls, perfect for a grab-and-go breakfast.
Ingredients
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter, microwaved for 30 seconds
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup butterscotch chips
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl until well mixed.
- Chill the mixture in the fridge for at least 60 minutes until firm.
- Shape the mixture into small, compact balls using your hands.
- Place finished balls on parchment paper to avoid sticking.
- Store in an airtight container or ziplock bag in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
For easier mixing, microwave the peanut butter. Customize sweetness and texture by adjusting honey or butterscotch chips and adding nuts or dried fruits.
